Singragosa, in her life she was Queen of Blue Dragonflight and prime-consort of Malygos fought in the battle for a legendary artefact called the Dragon Soul. A massive explosion decimated most of the Blue Dragonflight and hurled Sindragosa far away to land called Northrend. Severly wounded, she tried to gather the last of her power and call out to Malygos for aid but she received no answer. As her life faded away, her thoughts turned to hatred against the world of mortals.
Thousands years later, she was raised as a frost wyrm by the Lich King to become his most powerful servant and matriarch of the Frostbrood.

Arthas, Crown Prince of Lordaeron and paladin of the Silver Hand, was determined to stop the plague that was spreading throughout his kingdom but wasn't able to stop it. Fueled by his need for revenge, he ventured to the forgotten continent of Northrend where he picked up the cursed runeblade Frostmourne. He became death knight of the Scourge and led them in destroying the very land he loved - Lordaeron. After that he made his way to Icecrown where he took the helm of domination and merged with the Lich King. He became one of the most powerful and evil beings in Azeroth's history.
